The Bombay Hemp Company
Why we love it: Duuuuuude! BoHeCo says it is India’s first industrial hemp company. The company’s fashion brand—The Hemp Couture—makes a crisp white shirt made from 100% organic hemp. Not only is the shirt made of natural fibres and hence environment-friendly, but it is also stronger than cotton and needs less water to wash. Woot!

errorwear
Why we love it: There is geek. And there is geek that is so geek it makes normal geeks sexy and cool. This is geek on steroids. An errorwear T-shirt is clothing for the ubergeek. Especially the 256th LEVEL of PAC-MAN T-shirt. Why is the 256th level of PAC-MAN a big deal? If you have to ask…and if you’re not a PAC-MAN fan, then check out the brand’s numerous other failure-themed shirt designs.

Bombay Shirt Company
Why we love it: Shirts are some of the few elements of the man’s wardrobe, nay lifestyle, that can be manufactured to bespoke specifications. The people at the Bombay Shirt Company make these customizations easy-peasy-mouse-button-squeezey. All of their shirts are made in their facility in Mumbai, and they offer a nice range of options to personalize your shirts. But what about their shirts themselves? Most excellent.

Victorinox
Why we love it: Victorinox has a simple philosophy in making things: indestructibility. Their luggage, accessories and, above all, their pens are designed to last well beyond the decline and fall of the human race. What about their shirts? Reviews are enthusiastic. If you’re the kind of guy who likes to update your wardrobe once a decade, then the Bond checked shirt is a perfect, timeless choice. Made of 64% Cotton, 33% Polyamide and 3% Spandex. So that your shirt stretches only as much as you do.

WESC
Why we love it: The Swedish brand informs us that WESC stands for We Are The Superlative Conspiracy. What is the conspiracy? God only knows. Their website only says that “we’re having a hard time deciding on only one thing to focus on so instead we go full force into music, skate, arts, people, literature and more”. Not helping! But their printed shirts are just awesome. The Trenyce is our favourite.

Turnbull and Asser
Why we love it: Turnbull and Asser are shirtmakers for men of eminence. James Bond, for instance, is a fan. In the movie Casino Royale, Daniel Craig wore a Turnbull and Asser white dress shirt. (And you can buy it too. Well, not the exact shirt Craig wore…but you know what we mean.) More recently the 130-year-old British brand has launched the Informalist collection for weekend wearing. Exquisitely made, the shirts strike a delicate balance between fun and formal. We like. A lot.
