Winner of Padma Shri, photographer Pablo Bartholomew talks about his current exhibition ‘Outside In—A Tale of Three Cities’, and tells us why is it his personal teenage diary
On today’s show we have the renowned photographer Pablo Bartholomew, who will share his personal teenage diary with us.
A teenager walking around aimlessly with his camera, Pablo has frozen the era of the 70s and 80s in his photographs that are being displayed at his current exhibition Outside In—A Tale of Three Cities.
The pictures are shot in natural light, inside homes, under weak bulbs, or in dusky exteriors and under dim streetlights.
Pablo, who won Padma Shri this year for his work, unfolded some pages of his personal teenage diary to tell us more about his current exhibition, his relationship with these three cities, what kind of music inspired his generation in the 70s and what does he think about digital photography.
Outside In—A Tale of Three Cities starts today, that is 14 June, and will go on till 17 August at Photoink Gallery, Jhandewalan, New Delhi.
