Past life

Founder and director Samrat Goyal, 24, did a master’s in finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and has worked as a consultant with BCG (The Boston Consulting Group) and KPMG India. Ishan Baisoya, 25, did his master’s in business administration from New Delhi’s Indian Institute of Planning and Management and is currently pursuing a degree in law. He worked for a year at Investors Clinic, a real estate services company in New Delhi. Goyal and Baisoya are childhood friends; while Baisoya comes from a family with a background in business, Goyal is the first entrepreneur in his family.

Both wanted to start a venture on their own and contemplated many ideas, even shortlisting one to provide services like carpentry and plumbing, on the lines of www.mrright.in. They dropped that idea when they realized “technicians end up sharing their personal numbers with clients and start doing jobs on their own. There is no way we could track this all the time,” says Baisoya.
