Cook Out | Prawns flavoured with lemon

Chef Elam Rana of Lodi: The Garden Restaurant, gives us an easy recipe to barbeque the rainy blues away

Barbequed Lemon Parsley Prawn

Serves 2


200g prawn, medium-sized

10ml olive oil

10g garlic, sliced

1 tbsp parsley, chopped

10ml dry white wine

Juice of one lemon

50g lemon aioli (ready-made)

Salt and pepper to taste

Sliced lemon, for garnish

Clean the prawns and marinate with salt, pepper, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil and white wine for about an hour. Grill the prawns for 4-5 minutes until they are tender. Serve them with some salad and a slice of lemon topped with the lemon aioli.
