The National Museum, in collaboration with Kolkata’s Indian Museum, is presenting an exhibition of 91 objects, including sculptures, manuscripts and ritual objects related to the life of Buddha and Buddhism.

The Ichhemoto theatre group will present two productions. Inspired by Samuel Beckett’s Waiting For Godot, Sourav Palodhi’s Ebong O is about a girl waiting for someone or something. The narrative encompasses politics and police brutality. Natoker Naam Ki is about a playwright who spends all his time with the characters he creates. His life changes when two of his fictitious characters come to life.
