Mumbai: BSE Ltd said late on Friday that it will replace Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (Bhel) in its benchmark S&P BSE Sensex with Power Grid Corp. Ltd from 20 June.

The Sensex comprises 30 shares.

The exchange also announced that it will replace Cairn India Ltd with Bajaj Finance Ltd in its BSE 100 index. Cairn India will be also replaced in the S&P BSE oil and gas index with Indraprastha Gas Ltd.

The exchange also said that it will replace Hexaware Technologies Ltd, Eros International Media Ltd and Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Ltd in its BSE Teck index with Persistent Systems Ltd, TV Today Network Ltd and OnMobile Global Ltd.

In a notice on Friday, the exchange also announced changes in the BSE Carbonex, BSE 200 and BSE 500 indices.

All these changes will be effective from the opening of trade on 20 June, the exchange added
