At 3.20 pm, the rupee was trading at 70.98 a dollar. At day's low, the rupee hit 71.06 against the US dollar.
Mumbai: Indian rupee on Monday erased all the morning gains and was trading fresh record lows against US dollar after local equity markets fell sharply. At 3.20 pm, the rupee was trading at 70.98 a dollar, up 0.02%, from its Friday’s close of 71. The home currency opened at 70.78 a dollar and touched a high of 70.77 and a low of 71.06.
