Online search for life insurance is high, purchase low

Results of the survey Digital Natives on Protecting Life: Gauging knowledge, attitude and behaviour

A total of 1,009 men and women in two age groups, 28-35 years and 45-50 years, were surveyed by Nielsen. Their income groups were Rs5-10 lakh per annum and above Rs10 lakh. Their locations were: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore among metros and Lucknow, Indore, Hyderabad and Bhubaneshwar among tier I cities. Half the respondents already have life insurance and all actively conduct online transactions.
