Mandhana, Eros fall after Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s conviction
Mandhana has an exclusive agreement with Being Human - the Salman Khan Foundation for designing, marketing and distributing its products
Mumbai: Mandhana Industries fell as much as 4.74%, while Eros International dropped 7.15% as Mumbai sessions court sentenced Bollywood actor Salman Khan in 12-year old hit-and-run case.
Mandhana has an exclusive agreement with Being Human—the Salman Khan Foundation for designing, marketing and distributing Being Human clothing products, its website shows.
Eros International had said in December it had acquired global distribution rights of Salman Khan’s two upcoming movies.
Shares of Mandhana Industries closed 4.24% lower at ₹ 264.50 apiece, while those of Eros International lost 5.72% to end at ₹ 380.80 apiece on BSE on Wednesday. The benchmark Sensex closed 2.63% lower at 26,717.37. Reuters
