Real estate tops inflows in March quarter

The first three months of 2012 saw $2.45 billion worth of private equity (PE) investments in Indian companies across 131 deals, a 27% decline from the year-ago period. The average deal size also decreased from $48.2 million to $24.8 million during the same period.
