India to beat plastic pollution this World Environment Day

Children in Uttar Pradesh participated in a skating rally to spread awareness about conservation of environment on world environment day which is celebrated on 5 June every year. They wore green costumes to spread the message of a greener environment.This year's theme is Beat Plastic Pollution. Mahesh Sharma, the Minister of State for Environment also spoke on the need to remove one-time use plastics.
