One factor holding back investment is that major reforms have not happened
It has been 18 months since Narendra Modi became the prime minister, following his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s general election triumph. The overwhelming victory brought sky-high expectations that India’s economy, unshackled from the indecisiveness of the previous Congress-led government, would soar. Yet, as we welcome 2016, the Indian economy is hardly flying high.
