Mumbai: Four IndusInd Bank Ltd employees died after one of the bank buildings caught fire on Thursday night, Mumbai fire brigade officials said.
The fire took place at the bank’s building in the MIDC area in Andheri at 11pm last night, the officials said.
Six employees have been admitted to a private hospital to treat injuries and the fire is now under control, these officials said.
IndusInd Bank confirmed the deaths, but said banking services will not be impacted, according to a Press Trust of India news agency report.
