Back

Mumbai: Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) denied allegations by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that the company and its chairman Mukesh Ambani hold illegitimate bank accounts around the world.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, RIL said while its international subsidiaries dealt with several global banks as a part of the company’s global business operations, “these accounts are fully compliant with all regulations and are disclosed in their appropriate jurisdictions and in India".

“The continuous tirade of baseless allegations made by AAP against us appear to be instigated by vested interests."
