BackMedha Patkar may join Kejriwal’s AAP
Patkar received a call from AAP leader Yogendra Yadav requesting her to join the ruling party in Delhi

Mumbai: Social activist Medha Patkar may join Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). She is consulting her colleagues in National Alliance For People’s Movement (NAPM) in the matter and will take a call by the middle of January.
“Few days back, I received a call from AAP leader Yogendra Yadav requesting me to join AAP. Since then, I’m discussing the issue with my colleagues in NAPM. We have even called a meeting on 12 January to discuss the issue," Patkar said.
“I personally feel, emergence of AAP in country’s politics is a welcome change and has potential to free common man of politics, dominated by the vested corporate interests and communal forces," she added.
