Swan Telecom wants former Trai chief to be named a co-conspirator

New Delhi: Swan Telecom, which has been accused of involvement in the 2G spectrum scam, told the trial court on Thursday that the former Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) chairman should be treated as a co-conspirator in the 2G case. Without naming him, Swan’s counsel said the Trai chairman had recommended the 2001 pricing for 2007. Nripendra Misra was the Trai chairman between March 2006 and 2009. (read story)
