Delhi HC will hear the plea of wrestler Sushil Kumar, seeking a selection trial to decide who will represent India in men's 74 kg freestyle category at the Rio games

New Delhi: The Delhi high court on Tuesday has some interesting cases, especially with boxer Sushil Kumar’s plea to try for the Rio Olympic games. It’s worth watching if the judiciary will intervene in the case.

Red FM’s migration into phase III

The hearing is set to continue in the Red FM case on Tuesday. Digital Broadcasting Radio, the company that owns radio channel Red FM, had approached the Delhi high court, challenging the denial of its license renewal and subsequent migration into phase III regime. Earlier, the court directed the home ministry to take a decision over the said issue and allowed the interim stay that had been granted earlier to continue. Wrestler Sushil Kumar seeking trial for Rio Olympics

The Delhi high court will on Tuesday hear the plea of two-time Olympic medalist, wrestler Sushil Kumar, seeking a selection trial to decide who will represent India in men’s 74 kg freestyle category at the Rio games.

The Rio Olympics Games, 2016, are scheduled to take place from 5 to 21 August. Read more
