While sections of industry have expressed disappointment at the pace of change in the first year of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, industry lobby group Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) said “no government has done so much in its first year”. Outlining a 10-point agenda for the government, CII asked the government to focus on the macroeconomy along with crucial areas such as the land acquisition bill and labour reforms.
