Tier II cities drive job growth

Chandigarh leads the pack, ahead even of Kolkata and Hyderabad. Improving infrastructure and nurturing talent pool in smaller cities will further push up employability options followed by Ludhiana, Bhopal and Vijaywada.

While the Information Technology sector was the biggest employer, the study revealed that if infrastructure of smaller cities could be improved further, jobs would increase manifold.
