New Delhi: It was day two of the mudslinging game between the BJP and the Congress as dramatic developments inside Parliament on 22July continued to baffle, shock and intrigue viewers. But there was no new light on who exactly offered money to three BJP MPs to buy their votes as alleged by the party. ae9773d8-58d1-11dd-8a71-000b5dabf613.flv

On the day of reckoning, the three MPs charged into the well of the House waving wads of Rs1000 notes claiming that the Ruling combine had offered to bribe them to vote in favour of the Trust Motion moved by the UPA government.

Still nursing his bruises, BJP leader L K Advani termed the UPA win as a “tainted victory" and said the speaker should soon conduct a probe into the incident.

The Congress party on the other hand said BJP was a bad loser and that the allegations were baseless. They too demanded a probe by the Speaker...but against the three BJP MPs who produced the cash in the well of the Lok Sabha.

Jayanthi Natarajan said, “there should be an enquiry conducted into how the three BJP MP’s smuggled currency notes into the parliament, polluting the highest temple of democracy." She also said that action should be taken against them. Meanwhile, leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha LK Advani, demanded that CNN-IBN , the channel which had mounted it’s own investigations into horsetrading should reveal its side of the story.
