Earthquake strikes Delhi NCR

New Delhi: Delhi and parts of north India were hit by an earthquake around 4.30am on Thursday.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) website, the earthquake measured 4.2 on the Richter scale and was epicentred near Bawal, Haryana, at a depth of 10km.

There was no immediate loss of life and property reported from anywhere in Delhi. Many people tweeted about the earthquake despite the tremor hitting early in the morning.
