It was a speech that highlighted the importance of the Constitution, drew direct parallels between India and America, be it through education (it spoke of how the genius of B.R. Ambedkar was nurtured in the years he spent at the Columbia University a century ago) or ideology ( it mentioned that Gandhi’s non-violence inspired the heroism of Martin Luther King) or civil nuclear co-operation.
