Bandyopadhyay gets additional charge of I&B

New Delhi: The appointments committee of the Union cabinet has given temporary charge of the ministry of information and broadcasting (I&B) to corporate affairs secretary R. Bandyopadhyay. According to an official statement as per the order of the appointments committee of the cabinet, Bandyopadhyay will hold this additional charge for two weeks. It is, however, not clear whether I&B secretary Raghu Menon has stepped down from his post.
