New Delhi: Three months after a businessman was arrested by the Ahmedabad police and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at the Ahmedabad airport for leaving a hijack threat note aboard a Jet Airways flight, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday filed a chargesheet against the accused Birju Salla.
“NIA filed the chargesheet in the NIA Special Court at Ahmedabad, Gujarat in the Jet Plane Hijacking case against accused Birju Salla under section 3(1), 3(2)(a) and 4(b) of the Anti-Hijacking Act, 2016.
