IIM-B final placements over in half the time

Bangalore: Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) closed its final placement process on Monday, the B-school’s media relations team said. About 100 companies came to the school’s campus over a five-day period to recruit the 260-odd strong Class of 2010. That’s half the time taken last year during the economic slowdown and beat the school’s expectations that the process would take a week. The institute will hold a press conference on Tuesday to disclose placement details.
