Russia says Syria, Iran foreign ministers to visit Moscow this week

Moscow: Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem will visit Moscow from April 13-15 for talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s foreign ministry said on Wednesday.
Maria Zakharova, a foreign ministry spokeswoman, also said that three-ways talks between the foreign ministers of Russia, Iran and Syria would take place on April 14 in Moscow.

Earlier, Russia’s foreign minister Sergei Lavrov had said at a meeting with US secretary of state Rex Tillerson in Moscow that it was important not to allow a repeat of US strikes in Syria.
Lavrov had said the strikes carried out by the United States on a Syrian airbase last week were unlawful. He added that he expected to hold frank and honest discussions with Tillerson on forming a broad anti-terrorism coalition. Reuters
