While none of the protester were stopped from exiting the protest venue, Jantar Mantar, and marching towards Singh’s residence, they were later stopped on the way. Heavy deployment of security personnel and barricades were used in key areas of Central Delhi including Janpath, Tughlak Road, Akbar Road and Jantar Mantar.

Earlier in the day, Kejirwal was joined by other Hazare supporters, including Prashant Bhushan and Manish Sisodia, in what was their first agitation since they announced the formation of a political party earlier this month.
