Bengaluru: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested four persons in Karnataka for suspected links with the Middle Easter terror outfit ISIS.
In a joint operation with Karnataka Police, the NIA picked up the four suspects from various locations between Thursday night and Friday morning, a senior Karnataka Police official said on condition of anonymity. NIA officials were not immediately available for comment.
Two of the suspects were identified by the police as Najmul Huda and Syed Husain, both in their 20s. According to the police official cited above, Huda is a resident of Bajpae in Mangalore district and Husain hails from Tumkurru district.
The other two suspects haven’t been named.
