Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) started counting day with a bang, with early projected leads that seemed to give him the party as many as six seats. But the vote share arithmetic now appears to give the PRP just two seats, including Chiranjeevi’s own constituency of Tirupathi.

To form the state government, the Congress is likely to reach out to independents as well as the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimmen (AIMIM).
