Newark, New Jersey: A UK hacker stole massive amounts of confidential data from the US Army and the US Missile Defence Agency, including personal identifying information of servicemen and women, the US said.
Lauri Love, 28, breached thousands of computers systems, including those at the US Environmental Protection Agency and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Nasa), according to Paul Fishman, the US attorney in New Jersey. Love was arrested on 25 October at his home in Stradishall, England, said Fishman, who said criminal charges in New Jersey and Virginia were unsealed on Monday. Bloomberg
