Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday extended the last date for submitting requests for qualification documents by prospective bidders for the Rs12,132 crore Hyderabad Metro rail project to 2 November from 3 October.
Accordingly, the new due date for submitting the financial bids is 22 January.
The decision follows representations by bidders who had purchased the pre-qualification documents, Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd, the nodal agency for the project, said in a statement.
The state government had on 7 July terminated the Hyderabad Metro rail project awarded to a consortium led by the troubled Maytas Infra Ltd after it failed to raise funds for the project.
