Appointments committee temporarily upgrades the post of director general (supplies & disposals) in commerce ministry held by Binoy Kumar to that of secretary
New Delhi: The Union cabinet on Wednesday appointed Arun Kumar, until now special secretary in the social justice and empowerment ministry, as the new secretary in the mines ministry on the superannuation of the incumbent Balvinder Kumar.
The appointments committee of the cabinet temporarily upgraded the post of the director general handling supplies & disposals in the commerce and industry ministry held by Binoy Kumar to that of secretary. Kumar will hold this post for two years or until further orders.
R. Sridharan, currently special secretary in the mines ministry has been posted as member (finance) in the Space Commission in the rank and pay of secretary, by restoring the post to secretary level.
Raghvendra Singh, until now additional secretary in the agriculture, cooperation & farmers welfare ministry has been posted as director general, National Archives of India in the rank and pay of secretary by temporarily upgrading the post for a period of two years or until further orders, said an official statement.
