Congress revamps decision making body
New Delhi: Ruling Congress party on Friday revamped its apex decision making body Congress working committee (CWC) and the organization. However, the party leadership failed to bring in major changes as expected.
Law minister M. Veerappa Moily, general secretary Keshav Rao, and several current secretaries including Manish Tiwari and Alka Lamba have been dropped.
Senior party leaders Mohan Prakash, Shakeel Ahmed and former Lok Sabha member Madhusudan Mistry have been nominted to the CWC.
