New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Thursday reconstituted the party’s national executive.

Prominent women leaders, including Smriti Irani, Hema Malini and Najma Heptulla, are not in the 178-member national executive.

While most senior leaders, including former finance minister Yashwant Sinha and former general secretary Varun Gandhi, are in the list, Syed Shahnawaz Hussain and Sudhanshu Trivedi—spokesperson and political adviser to home minister Rajnath Singh—were not included.
