Mark Tully | I’m a British, highly influenced by India
In this week’s edition of the Expat show, Melissa A. Bell talks to former BBC journalist Sir Mark Tully about his experiences in India. Mark Tully has been living in India for over 40 years. He spent his early childhood days in Kolkata during the British Raj but Mark says he does not consider himself to be an Indian at all but as someone who is highly influenced by India and its people. He says he doesn’t like being called an expat either. He also talks about the early days in his career and what brought him to India in the first place.
