Magnitude 4.7 earthquake shakes up Delhi NCR

An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 hit near Rohtak in Haryana at 4.26am on Friday, tremors of which were felt all over Delhi NCR

New Delhi: An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 on the Richter sale hit Kharkhauda in Rohtak district of Haryana at 4.26am Friday, tremors of which were felt all over Delhi NCR.

The earthquake originated at a depth of 10km, according to the USGS website. The epicentre was located 14 km from Kharkauda.

No reports of casualty or damage to property were available at the time of this update.
