BJP most mentioned party on primetime news

The BJP got 369 minutes of coverage time of the total 1,101 minutes spent on political parties between 1-15 March
Political parties and leaders dominated the primetime coverage on television news channels in the run-up to the nine-phase Lok Sabha elections that started on 7 April.
According to a content analysis study conducted by CMS Media Lab, part of research house, Centre for Media Studies (CMS) across leading news channels, the main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party garnered 369 minutes of coverage time of the total 1,101 minutes spent on political parties between 1-15 March. The Aam Aadmi Party came in a close second with 345 minutes followed by the Congress that managed to get 193 minutes of coverage.
Channels included in the analysis are Aaj Tak, ABP News, Zee News, NDTV 24x7 and CNN IBN.
