US-based game developer and digital distribution company Valve is back with the annual summer sales on the Steam Store and is offering up to 90% discounts on some of the most popular gaming titles. What makes it even more interesting is that you can get some of the latest games such as Sniper Elite 4 and Football Manager 2017 at half their prices. It is a two-week-long sale and will continue till 5 July 2017. Here are some of the top game deals announced so far.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands
Price: Rs2,344 (earlier Rs3,499)
Steam is offering a 33% discount on Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. It is a tactical shooter game where a bunch of commandos have been sent to Bolivia to take down a highly organised and ruthless drug cartel which now controls a major part of the country. It supports multi-player gaming and allows teaming up with up to three players at a time. Developed and published by Ubisoft, it is a fairly new game and was released in March 2017.

Popular action game Mafia 3 is selling at a discount of 63% on Steam. Set in the 1960s, the game revolves around the Marcano crime family which controls all illegal activities in the fictional city of New Bordeaux. Players get to shake up their authority by guiding a Vietnam war veteran Lincoln Clay on a series of story-based missions. The game has been praised for its stunning graphics, strong storyline, music and darker theme. It is developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games. It was released in October 2016.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Price: Rs2,149 (earlier Rs4,299)
The 13th game in the Call of Duty franchise, the Infinity Warfare, is available at a 50% discount. Like all other games in the series, it is a first-person shooter but set in outer space. The gameplay includes campaign, multiplayer and special multi-player Zombies mode. The objective is to steer a team of special forces sent to outer space to investigate an unknown attack on one of the research facilities and recover a lost weapon. The game was liked for its visuals and unique storyline. Developed by Infinity ward and published by Activision, the game was released in November 2016.

Selling at a discount of 50%, PES 2017 is one of the best PC games in the Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) series till date. It was praised for its rich visuals, natural player movements and the new auction mode where you can acquire new players. It doesn’t have the licence for all teams, leagues and stadium as the FIFA 17, but allows users to customise team names afterwards. It was developed and published by Japanese company Konami and was released in September 2016.
Sniper Elite 4

Available at 50% discount, Sniper Elite 4 is a unique shooter game which involves a lot of planning and stealth. Set during World War II, the game allows players to find strategic locations and take down key members in the enemy camp. The game is notable for its epic long shots, slow motion captures and breathtaking locations. What makes the game more challenging is the level of realism. Players have to take into account factors such as direction of wind, heart beat and gravity. Developed and published by Rebellion Developments, the game was released in February 2017.

One of the best selling games of the year, Dishonored 2 is a stealth-based action game set in a fictional city of Karnaca. Steam is offering a discount of 50% on it.The gameplay revolves around a dethroned empress, Emily Kaldwin, who is trying to reclaim her throne back. The game was praised or for the unique stealth mode, which allows players to clear missions without killing anyone. The game was developed by French company Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Studios. It was released in November 2016.
