Note-taking apps have many uses. They can help users remember a fleeting idea, jot down an address or email and prepare a list of shopping items or things to do. They are free, load faster than a typical document writing app and are designed to furnish information quickly. Google’s Keep is a popular note writing app with plenty of hidden elements. Use Keep in other Google appsmobAds
Keep is now a part of Google G Suite, which means it is linked to a number of other Google apps. So if you are working on Google Docs or Slides on your PC and need to refer to your notes in Keep, you don’t have to switch apps anymore. Keep integration makes all your notes available within Docs and Slides. To enable it, click on Tools in the menu bar in Docs and Slides, and select Keep Notepad. This will add an interface for your Keep notes on the right side of the screen. To use the note in Docs or Slide, just drag and drop it on the main page. Users can also write notes while working on Docs or Slides and the note will be synced on all the devices.
Keep while web browsingNextMAds
In case you want to take a note, save an online image or a website URL while browsing the web, but without navigating away from the webpage, you can use Keep’s extension for Google Chrome. To access it, go to Chrome web store and download the Keep extension. This will add a Keep icon on the top right side of the web page. Every time you want to save something, tap on the icon and a Keep window will show on the top right side of the screen. The saved note will be synced and show on the Keep app on other devices immediately.
Make notes from photos
You don’t have to always type to take a note. Keep supports OCR (optical charter recognition) which means it can identify text in photos, just like a mobile scanner app, and then save it as a text file. So if the information you need is written down on a paper or whiteboard, you don’t have to waste time on typing it. Just tap on the camera icon on the lower edge of the screen, click a photo and select Grab image text.thirdMAds
Type with voice
In case you are in a hurry and don’t have time to type a note, you can use Keep’s audio recording tool. To use this feature, tap on the microphone icon at the lower edge of the screen and say the message aloud. Once it is recorded, the app will automatically convert the audio into a text note and save it along with the audio file.
