New Delhi: New emoji characters will be available across all the Apple devices later this year, the company announced on Monday. New emojis include woman with headscarf, a bearded person, a yoga master and a breastfeeding mother.
Other new emojis included food items such as sandwich and coconut, along with animals such as a dinosaur and zebra, and mythical creatures such as a zombie, genie and elf. The devices will also have new star-struck, exploding head smiley faces and one throwing up green vomit, said an update on Apple newsroom.
To celebrate World Emoji Day, Apple shared some of the new emojis coming to iOS, MacOS and watchOS. Apple chief executive officer Tim Cook on Monday took to Twitter to announce the launch of more than a dozen emojis later this year.
Although there are thousands of emojis available on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, the company is constantly upgrading itself to add personality to every message.
