India Kawaski Motors has launched the 2023 model of Kawasaki Ninja 300 motorcycle in the country. The new motorcycle is offered in three colour variants- Lime Green, Candy Lime Green and Metallic Moondust Grey.
The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 300 comes with a starting price of ₹3.43 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with a liquid cooled, four stroke parallel twin 296cc DOHC engine with eight valves. The engine is equipped with a fuel-injection system which can churn out 39 PS of peak power and 26.1Nm torque.
Similar to the Ninja ZX-10R, dual throttle valves give precise control of intake air, resulting in linear throttle response across the rpm range. Dual throttle valves also contribute to combustion efficiency, and hence engine performance as well as favourable fuel consumption. It comes with larger main throttle valves and sub-throttle valves that helps flow a greater volume of air, contributing to the increased engine performance. The bike also features fine-atomising injectors with a droplet size of only 60 μm contributing to combustion efficiency.
The bike is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. It boasts of a dual-channel ABS system, heat management and race-derived clutch technology.
The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 300 has a high-tensile diamond chassis. The bike’s exhaust has a short silencer with a cross-section. It comes with a large-diameter 290 mm front petal disc brake operated by a 2-piston caliper that delivers powerful braking and a natural feel at the lever. There is a 220 mm rear petal disc and 2-piston caliper claimed to give dependable stopping power. Petal brake discs like those on the larger-displacement Ninja supersport models offer excellent heat dissipation.
On the design front, the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 300 boasts of an agressive dual headlamp design which contributes to the strong Ninja supersport image. The multi-reflector headlamps also offer superb illumination for riding at night. It comes with built-in front turn signals with a sleeker and more unitised appearance.
