Honda Cars India is set to reveal the highly anticipated Elevate SUV on June 6. The global unveiling will take place in India, making it the first country to introduce the Honda Elevate.

Serving as Honda's third volume pillar, alongside the Honda City and Honda Amaze, the success of the Elevate is crucial for the carmaker, as it aims to recover from a decline in sales in recent years. Here are key details about this upcoming model Hyundai Creta-rival.

The highly anticipated Honda Elevate SUV will have its global premiere on June 6. Positioned as a rival to popular models like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and MG Astor, the new Elevate is expected to be priced between 10.50 lakh and 20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Powertrain options for the new Elevate are likely to be shared with the Honda City sedan. This includes a 1.5-litre VTEC DOHC petrol engine with 121PS of maximum power and 145Nm of peak torque, available with both 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed CVT. Additionally, a strong hybrid powertrain may be introduced later, featuring a self-charging, two-motor e-CVT system connected to a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine with 126PS of maximum power and 253Nm of peak torque.

The upcoming Elevate SUV is anticipated to come equipped with notable features such as LED headlamps, daytime running lights (DRLs), and taillamps, along with 17-inch alloy wheels and an electric sunroof. Inside the cabin, expect a touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, wireless charger, and ventilated seats, among other amenities. It is also likely that Honda will offer Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with the new Elevate SUV.

Unofficial bookings for the upcoming Honda Elevate have commenced, requiring a token amount of 21,000. The SUV is anticipated to be launched in India ahead of the festive season.
