Hyundai Motor India has revealed the safety features of its upcoming Exter SUV. As announced by the company, Hyundai Exter SYV will be equipped with advanced safety features with the inclusion of 6-Airbags as standard fitment.
The auto manufacturer says that Hyundai Exter will come with 26 safety features across all variants and as an option on entry trims (E & S). The micro SUV will be offered in 5 trim options – EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect.
Safety options on Exter will include first-in segment features like ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management) and HAC (Hill Assist Control). Hyundai Exter will also boast of 3-Point Seat Belt & seatbelt reminder (all seats), Keyless Entry, ABS with EBD, Rear Parking Sensors, ESS, Burglar Alarm among others.
Hyundai's upcoming SUV will have 40 advanced safety features that include Headlamp Escort function, Auto Headlamps, ISOFIX, Rear Defogger and Rear Parking Camera. Additionally, Hyundai EXTER offers Segment First safety features such as Dashcam with dual camera, TPMS (Highline) and Burglar Alarm.
Hyundai has started accepting bookings of the micro SUV. Those interested in owning the upcoming Hyundai car can pre book it by paying a token amount of ₹11,000. The micro SUV can be pre-booked via Hyundai dealerships across the country along with the website.
Hyundai Exter SUV will come in six single-tone and three dual-tone color options including Cosmic Blue and Ranger Khaki.

Hyundai Exter will be equipped with 3 powertrain options - 1.2 l Kappa Petrol engine (E20 Fuel Ready) available with 5-speed manual transmission (5MT) and Smart Auto AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) and 1.2 l Bi-fuel Kappa petrol with CNG engine equipped with 5-speed Manual transmission.
