Jawa Perak Launch & Price: Mahindra & Mahindra's subsidiary Classic Legends has finally launched its third and last model it showcased in 2018 - Jawa Perak at the price of ₹1.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) after the Jawa and Jawa Forty Two. Jawa Perak was first revealed on 15 November, alongside Jawa and Jawa Forty Two, with an a price tag of ₹1.89 lakh. The slight increase in the price can be attributed to engine upgrade for BS6 emission compliance.
Jawa Perak Engine
The all new Perak bobber is powered by a BS6-compliant, 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four stroke, DOHC engine which generates 30 horsepower and 31 newton meter of torque. The Perak comes with parallel twin exhausts and 6 speed gearbox. The Perak employs 14 litre tank capacity.
Jawa Perak Braking & Style
The all new Perak looks completely different from its predecessors models -the Jawa and the Jawa Forty Two. The bike comes with a single floating seat as a standard option. The braking duties are assigned to standard double-channel anti braking system. The Perak has long wheelbase and a redesigned swingarm to provide better stability and handling. The company has shed the chrome look for the matte-black finishing.
Jawa Perak Bookings
The bookings for Jawa Perak will begin on the Jawa Motorcycles official website from 1 January, 2020. The deliveries for the Jawa Perak is expected to have same waiting period as the previous two motorcycles- around six months. The new model would be available only once the BSVI grade petrol is made available, from 2 April. 2020.
Jawa Perak Suspension
The front suspension is telescopic hydraulic fork and monoshock absorber in the rear. The kerb weight of the bike is 179 kilograms.
