Kia Seltos crosses 5 lakh sales milestone: A look at the top features
The auto manufacturer says that Kia Seltos contributes 55% of the company’s net sales including exports and domestic sales consumption.
PremiumKia India has announced that it has sold 5 lakh units of Kia Seltos SUV in the country. Launched in August 2019, the SUV has achieved the 5 lakh milestone in 46 months. Latest model of Kia Seltos comes with a starting price of ₹10.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
The mid-size SUV, the auto manufacturer says, contributes 55% of the company’s net sales including exports and domestic sales consumption. Kia India says that 1,35,885 units of Seltos have been manufactured in India and been exported to nearly 100 overseas markets including the Middle East, Africa, Central & South America, Mexico, and the Asia Pacific region.

Kia Seltos SUV features
Kia India introduced the 2023 model of Kia Seltos SUV in India earlier this year. The compact SUV now complies with the BS6 Phase 2 and RDE emission regulations. As mentioned above, the micro SUV carries a starting price of ₹10.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
2023 Kia Seltos is offered with two engine options: the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and the 1.5-litre turbo diesel. The 1.5-litre petrol engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT, whereas the 1.5 diesel engine comes with a new 6-speed iMT gearbox and continues to offer the 6-speed torque converter option. The 6-speed manual transmission on the diesel engine has been removed from the lineup.
The updated Kia Seltos SUV comes with new styling, features, and added safety technology such as ADAS.
