KTM India has launched the 250 Adventure V, a variant of their quarter-litre adventure tourer with a lowered seat height of 834mm, priced the same as the regular model at ₹2.47 lakh. The modification results in reduced ground clearance of 175mm, compared to 200mm in the standard model.

KTM India has launched a variant called the 250 Adventure V, offering a lowered seat height for their quarter-litre adventure tourer. Similar to the recently released 390 Adventure V, the 250 Adventure V features a seat height of 834 mm, which is lower than the standard 855 mm. Despite the modification, the new variant is priced the same as the regular model at 2.47 lakh (ex-showroom).

The introduction of the KTM 250 Adventure V, featuring a lower seat height, allows riders with shorter inseams to have better footing. However, this adjustment comes at the expense of reduced ground clearance, with the measurement dropping from 200 mm in the standard model to 175 mm in the 250 Adventure V. Other than these modifications, there are no distinctions between the standard 250 Adventure and the 250 Adventure V.

Speaking of engine, the newly updated adventure tourer is now offered in two color choices: Factory Racing Blue and Electronic Orange. It is equipped with a familiar 249 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 29.6 bhp of power at 9,000 rpm and 24 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm.

The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and features a slipper clutch. In terms of features, the bike includes a split LED headlamp, a compact windscreen, an LCD instrument console, a 14.5-litre fuel tank, dual-channel ABS, and more.

Additonally, the KTM 250 Adventure V will be available in addition to the regular models and will compete with the Suzuki V-Strom SX 250. The Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 also provides a seat height of 835 mm, but it boasts a higher ground clearance of 205 mm.
