The Jimny from Maruti Suzuki is receiving a mixed kind of reaction on Twitter. While some people are impressed with the fully loaded features of Jimny, others are not very happy with the prices.
A twitter user by the name of@real_FreeBird commented, “What we’re you thinking with those pricing? Especially Zeta? Overpriced man. Why are you killing your own products?".
While another user @jobuleon commented three fire emojis, appreciating the SUV.
Interestingly, another user used the famous web series Mirzapur meme dialogue, “Aapse better umeed kiye the hum, meaning ‘Expected better from you’," to express the disappointment on Jimny prices.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny (5-door) will be available in Zeta and Alpha variants with Automatic and Manual transmission choices. The auto manufacturer says that the SUV takes forward NEXA’s design philosophy of ‘Crafted Futurism’, bolstering the three key pillars of NEXpression, NEXtech and NEXperience.
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is powered by 1.5L K-series engine with Idle Start Stop. It is capable of delivering maximum power of 77.1kW@6000rpm and max torque of 134.2Nm@4000rpm.
This SUV has a ground clearance (Unladen) of 210mm. It offers a fuel-efficiency of 16.94km/l for 5-speed MT and 16.39km/l for 4-speed AT.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny comes with ALLGRIP PRO (4WD) system and has a low range transfer gear (4L mode) to offer extreme off-road ability.
All variants of Maruti Suzuki Jimny come with the standard features of 6 airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), brake assist function, electronic stability program (ESP), brake limited slip differential, hill hold control, hill descent control, side-impact door beams and 3-point emergency locking. Retractor seatbelts, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, seatbelt, pretensioner, and rear view camera are other safety features available on the SUV.
Additionally, Jimny is built on Suzuki’s own Total Effective Control Technology (TECT) platform to provide superior safety performance.
