India’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) launched its popular Celerio (petrol) hatchback car in the BS-VI compliant version on Monday.
The company in a regulatory filing has said that it has launched the new version today and as a result of which the price of the car will get revised.
The Ex-showroom price in Delhi and NCR region shall vary from Rs. 4,41,200 to Rs. 5,67,300 and in Rest of India from Rs. 4,46,200/- to Rs. 5,72,300.
Maruti launched the Celerio first in 2014 with auto gear shift (AGS) technology.
Sales of models like WagonR, Celerio, Ignis, Swift, Dzire and Baleno which falls under the compact sub-segment, saw production rise to 62,448 units last month in comparison to 44,329 units in December 2018.
The compact-car segment (New WagonR, Swift, Celerio, Ignis, Baleno, Dzire) reported 27.9 per cent jump in sales at 65,673 units from 51,346 units.
Earlier on 17 January, Maruti also launched the EECO (Petrol) in BS-VI compliant version.
The revised Ex-showroom price in Delhi and NCR region shall vary from ₹3,80,800 to ₹6,84,000 and in Rest of India from ₹3,90,800 to ₹6,94,000.
