Maruti Invicto
Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to introduce its premium MPV, the Invicto, to the Indian market on July 5th. Reportedly, drawing inspiration from the popular Grand Vitara, the Invicto showcases a refreshed design while retaining similarities to the outgoing Toyota Innova Hycross. The front fascia will resemble that of the Grand Vitara, while other aspects of the model will bear resemblance to the Innova Hycross. Similar to the Innova Hycross, the Invicto is expected to offer two engine options—a 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology and a 2.0L strong-hybrid petrol engine.
New-gen Maruti Swift
The report from the media publication further highlights that the Maruti Swift is set to undergo a transformation, possibly in the early part of next year, as the next-generation model is introduced. Constructed on the robust HEARTECT platform shared with the Baleno and Fronx, the upcoming Swift is anticipated to bring significant design modifications, improved construction quality, and a range of fresh features. In addition to details on the new generation Swift, the report suggests that the production model of the eVX is anticipated to compete with well-known electric SUVs such as the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV400, and MG ZS EV. Featuring a 60kWh battery pack and constructed on a purpose-built electric vehicle platform, the eVX boasts an impressive range of 550km on a full charge.
