The special edition of the Magnite brings several notable upgrades, including a large nine-inch infotainment screen with high resolution. This screen is complemented by JBL speakers and supports wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Another notable feature is the inclusion of a trajectory rear camera, allowing for easier parking and maneuvering.
Interestingly, the special edition also boasts ambient lighting that can be controlled through a mobile application, adding a touch of customization. Furthermore, the interior receives a premium beige-colored upholstery, enhancing the overall aesthetic. On the exterior, the special edition features a shark-fin antenna for improved connectivity.
Nissan has witnessed an overwhelming response since the initial launch of the Magnite, with over one lakh bookings received. The lively 1.0 turbo-petrol engine has garnered significant interest among customers, although the option of a 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine is also available. Building on this success, Nissan introduced the Magnite Red Edition last year, which was also well-received by the market.
The Nissan Magnite has been a successful model for the Japanese car manufacturer, despite facing challenges in India's competitive car market. Initially, the Magnite was introduced with a starting price below ₹5 lakh (ex-showroom), which resonated well with prospective customers. Despite subsequent price adjustments, the model has enjoyed considerable popularity. With the launch of the special edition variant, Nissan anticipates further growth and increased interest in the Magnite.
